For years, my face was a living laboratory. If you ran into me, you’d see a split face: different mascaras, tones, and finishes on each side. I wasn’t building a brand; I was doing it for me.
This obsessive "collector’s heart" started long ago—from my childhood days when I was completely mesmerized by Sailor Moon, meticulously collecting and cherishing every tiny detail.
That same kid grew up to run a 24/7 trial-and-error marathon on her own skin, refusing to settle for anything less than a perfect, transparent base. RE LUMI is the result of that lifelong, relentless curiosity.
The "Impossible" Choice: Quality over Cost
When we started, the industry offered an easy out: low-cost, mass-produced tools that maximize profit. It would have been the "sensible" business move. But I knew a uniform, machine-made edge could never respect the delicate texture of a human face.
So, we rejected the high-margin, low-cost route. We chose premium 316L stainless steel and a demanding hand-finishing process—built to my personal standard, not a price point.
