The spatula does not absorb foundation, and the puff was selected to minimize unnecessary product absorption (water repellent). Together, they are designed to help keep more foundation on the skin rather than inside the applicator.

💡 Because not every foundation—or every part of your face—is the same.
The thicker edge works beautifully with most foundations, including lightweight and serum-like formulas. The thinner edge can help spread thicker foundations into thinner layers. And thinner edge is especially useful around detailed areas like the nose and around the lips.
That's why we designed both into a single tool.
